DAYS SHOULD SPEAK The first chapter of Genesis is used by religion to prove that everything was created in seven literal days, whereas science has proven through evidence that the earth is millions of years old and became inhabited through the process of evolution. We have also been taught by religion that Adam was the first man created but scientific evidence proves that man has existed for hundreds of thousands of years. What are we to believe? Should we simply ignore all scientific evidence and by blind faith accept the church’s literal translation of scripture, or are we to search for truth. The truth is that science and religion agree! The single most problem that inhibits mutual understanding is the concept of (TIME). There are three words in the Greek language that describes time; CHRONOS: A space of time in general. A Chronological period of time or time itself. KAIROS: A fixed or special occasion, From the word Aion.. AION: (A particular period or interval); by extensive an individual opportunity.
We see in the scripture that there have been fixed
periods in time, that God chose to bring a change in he earth. This
change happened because the Spirit of God super-imposed itself on
mankind and gave individuals opportunity to experience a new
awakening to the purpose and plan of God for the age.
The scripture tells us in: 2 Peter 3:8 (KJV) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. This scripture does not mean that the Lord considers each day a literal thousand years, but it means that God’s day is as, a thousand years in comparison to man’s twenty - four hour day. The word day in scripture has the meaning: »Strong’s Help yowm, Hebrew 3117, Strong’s yowm, yome; from an unused root meaning to be hot; a day (as the warm hours), whether literal (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or figurative (A SPACE OF TIME DEFINED BY AN ASSOCIATED TERM) A day then is a time period defined by the activity that is taking place within it. The scripture speaks of, the day of atonement, day of the Lord, day of judgment and the day of battle. These were not literal twenty-four hour days, but periods of time in which something specific happened. Job cried out in his adversity and said: Job 32:7 (KJV) I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. And the following scripture tells us that days do speak: 1 Cor. 3:13 (KJV) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. We see then that the seven days listed in Genesis are not literal twenty-four hour days, but indefinite periods of time in which God does a specific thing. Genesis 1:1-2 (KJV) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. We know that the scripture tells us that all things were created by the word of God. John 1:1-3 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. What was the word that created all things? The Greek word used in this scripture is Logos. »Strong’s Help logos, Greek 3056, Strong’s logos, log'-os; from Greek 3004 (lego); something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty or motive; by extension a computation; specially (with the art. in John) the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ) :- How does Spirit Speak? It speaks through manifestation. God is Spirit and His expression is Word. When Moses asked God his name at the burning bush, God did not give him a title but revealed to Moses a nature. He was I AM, THAT I AM, or I AM THAT, THAT I BECOME. Everything existed in Spirit before it became visible in the realm of earth. God created all things by becoming all things. This manifestation is the Logos word, or divine expression that speaks to us concerning the revelation of God. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: God is the source and substance of all things created. Each specie in heaven and in earth find their origination in spirit. This is the eternal Godhead. The word Godhead means that all things are headed up or originated in God. In Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. The Hebrew word for God used in the above scripture is Elohim, a plural noun. If you read this scripture with your natural understanding you would likely assume that there is more than one God. Some believe this Elohim represents the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, yet the old testament prophets prophesied, “Hear O Israel the Lord thy God is ONE GOD.” Most Biblical scholars believe that Moses wrote the book of Genesis and the story of Moses gives strong evidence that he was the author. Moses was a descendant of Abraham who lived in Ur of the Chaldees. When God called Abraham to come out of his father’s house, he journeyed to the land of Canaan. When he arrived there the land was inhabited by Canaanites who worshipped a God they referred to as EL. Abraham and the Hebrew people began to be influenced by the worship of EL. God told Abraham that the Hebrew people would suffer famine and as a result would journey into the land of Egypt and be under bondage to the Egyptians for 400 years. The Hebrews were influenced by Egyptian culture but never forgot the God known as EL. The Hebrew people began to multiply and the Pharaoh was afraid the Hebrews would increase to the extent they would out number the Egyptians. As a result, all the male babies of the Hebrews were to be killed at birth. Moses’ mother knew he was called of God and placed him into the Nile river as his sister watched nearby. The Pharaoh’s daughter found Moses and took him home to Pharaoh’s house. There was no milk for Moses and his sister told Pharaoh’s daughter that she knew a Hebrew woman who had milk and Moses’ mother was called to the house of Pharaoh to nurse him. Moses was raised in the house of Pharaoh and was taught the Egyptian culture and worship of their many Gods but was also taught by his mother, about the Hebrew God EL. When Moses saw an Egyptian and Hebrew fighting, he rose up and slew the Egyptian and as a result had to flee into the backside of the desert. One day when Moses was tending his sheep in the desert, he saw a bush that was on fire. Moses heard a voice speak out of the fire and instructed him to return to Egypt and deliver the children of Israel out from Egypt and take them back to the land of Canaan. When Moses asked God what he would tell the Israelites God gave the following answer. Exodus 3:13,14: And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, what is his name? (nature) What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses I AM THAT I AM: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. God did not give him a title, but described the nature of who he was. God said, I AM THAT I AM, or I AM THAT I BECOME. God who was Spirit, became all things. He was relating the fact that every specie came out of him and his nature could be found in all that came out of him. In Exodus 6:2,3: And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD (YAHVEH) And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name GOD ALMIGHTY, but by my name YAHVEH was I not known to them. The name GOD ALMIGHTY in translation is, EL SHADDAI storm God or breasted one. God was telling Moses that He was familiar with the Canaanite God EL, but he was about to reveal to them the nature of YAHVEH meaning God of the covenant. God was about to make a covenant with the Hebrew people through the law He was about to reveal them through their deliverer Moses. Evidence points to the fact that Moses wrote the book of Genesis because: 1. He was a descendant of Abraham who dwelled in the land of the Canaanites who worshiped the God known as EL. 2. He was taught about the God EL by his mother and about the creation of every specie when God hid him in the cleft of the rock and revealed his hinder parts (Past activity) to him. THE WORD ELOHIM IS A COLLECTIVE PLURAL. Elohim appears over 2000 times throughout the Hebrew scripture and in almost every instance it has a singular verb. It is always: “And Elohim (he) spoke to Moses and never “And Elohim (they) spoke to Moses. So Elohim is not three Gods creating the heaven and the earth, but ONE GOD creating EVERY SPECIE out of Himself. All things created is the GODHEAD of GOD. The (Elohim) or family of God. Genesis 2: 1,3 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host (specie) of them. And on the seventh day God (Elohim) ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God (Elohim) blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God (Elohim) created and made. THE FIRST CHAPTER OF GENESIS IS AN OUTLINE, EXPLAINING GOD’S CREATIVE PROCESS THROUGH SEVEN DISPENSATIONAL PERIODS OF TIME. These dispensations are, Days that speak.
